a month of baking...

Elijah has been my super baking helper all month! and though we usually make a big mess, we have a lot of fun, and he is actually a good helper :)

So here is all the pictures from the passed month of our baking....

We kicked off our baking by making scrum-diddly-umcious Peppermint Bark!!
I decided to change it up a bit by not only using white chocolate chips, but also putting
some "candy cane" kisses in them too ---- sooo good! Anywho, here is my big helper unwrapping ALL the kisses for me. - def a job I did not want to have, but he didnt' seem to mind one bit. and I **think** he only ate two kisses. lol

He decided he needed two containers, one for the kisses and one for the trash. Pretty good system :)

After he got the one container perfectly lined with kisses, my silly boy had to then line the rest up on the table.

Then we made some FREE cookies, score! the cookie package/mix was on sale for $1 and I had $1 off coupons. - can't beat that! (haha, no pun intended). And they were actually really yummy... but Elijah had to add his own special touch - m&m's. He had to put them in 4 cookies, he told me 2 for him and 2 for his best bud, Silas.

Caleb was a good trooper through our baking... if he wasn't sleeping he was in the
swing happily watching us :)

We told Elijah that christmas was to celebrate Jesus' birthday. and then he decided that we needed to make him a birthday cake. we made a red velvet cake....

Can you tell that we like to like the beaters? hehe
