Thanksgiving 2009

We headed up to Payson on Wednesday afternoon to spend some time with my Grandparents before all the Thanksgiving craziness started. Elijah got a special treat... His first ice cream cone. needless to say the kid loved it!

I really like this picture for some reason.

okay so this was hilarious!!! My grandma and I were sitting on the floor cutting potatoes
and then Elijah wanted to come over and help. so we would cut pieces and let him
put them in the pot. so far so good....

well then he started to look inside the pot and realized
that there was water in it. and then he got an even closer look...

He thought he was sooo funny for dunking his head in the potato
water! **for what it is worth, we ended up dumping out the water and
rinsing all the potatoes off before we cooked them**


so maybe that will be our new family tradition??.... bobbing for potatoes on thanksgiving! lol
